The Great Escape Game dominated at the Best Bar None awards with wines in Best New Comer, Best Independent and the People’s Choice by Best Bar None at their awards ceremony in Sheffield this week.
Best Bar None is a Home Office supported accreditation scheme recognising responsible licensing practice. The Sheffield business took home three awards and even a shortlist accreditation for the Best Late Bar.
“To watch these guys put in hours of work for us to be an accredited “Best Bar None” bar was incredible…but to watch their faces when they won, not one, not two, but three awards was something else!” states company Director, Hannah Duraid.

We interviewed The Great Escape Game in 2018 when they announced their plans to donate 20% of all booking prices to Homeless charity ‘Emmaus’ made on Black Friday. In an attempt to shift the focus from discounts and sales, the company encouraged customers to be more altruistic on the run up to Christmas.
